Platform

Designed for the nursing station, not for the patient.

Each unit gets its own station at a private URL. Each bed connects to the patient's Nightscout instance and updates on its own, minute by minute.

Real-time ward station

Up to 40 beds per unit on a single screen. Patients in critical condition automatically rise to the foreground, with visual and optional audible alarm.

Trend, delta and insulin on board

Each bed shows the current value, the trend direction, the change from the previous reading and the insulin on board (IOB) computed by Nightscout.

Per-patient targets

Target ranges configurable bed by bed. Alarm thresholds adapt to each protocol.

Bolus logging

Authorised staff can log correction boluses that are sent directly to the patient's Nightscout. Glusor keeps nothing.

Display mode

A view-only key for the wall monitor at the nursing station: it sees everything, it can touch nothing.

Unit onboarding

After the demo we create your unit and hand over its private URL (glusor.com/your-unit) with the access credentials.

Connecting beds

Each bed is linked to the patient's Nightscout URL and a read token. Nothing to install: the sensor the patient already wears.

Monitoring

The station refreshes itself every minute. On patient discharge, the bed is unlinked and no data remains in Glusor.

Our golden rule

Your patients' glucose is never stored.

Each value is read live from each patient's Nightscout, exclusively to display it on your station. We do not record it, we do not store it and we do not share it with anyone. Boluses logged by staff travel directly to the patient's Nightscout. If you stop using Glusor tomorrow, there is nothing left to delete.

Security

Minimal architecture, minimal surface.

The best way to protect data is not to have it. Glusor keeps only the essential configuration, and keeps it encrypted.

Encryption at rest

Nightscout tokens are encrypted with XChaCha20-Poly1305 (or AES-256-GCM) before they ever touch disk.

End-to-end TLS

HTTPS enforced with HSTS. Only Nightscout instances served over HTTPS are accepted.

Active defence

Per-IP login rate limiting, CSRF protection on every write operation and an activity log with credentials redacted.

Pseudonymisation

Glusor knows no patient names: we recommend identifying each bed only by its label (e.g. "Bed 12").

GDPR by design

Data minimisation, 7-day log retention and full unit deletion on request.

What clinical teams ask us.

What does each patient need to appear on the station?

A continuous glucose sensor feeding its data into a Nightscout instance reachable over HTTPS. It is the most widespread open standard: compatible with Dexcom, Libre, Medtronic and most hybrid systems. Glusor only needs the URL and a read token.

Where is the glucose data stored?

Nowhere. Glusor acts as a viewer: it requests the latest value from the patient's Nightscout, displays it and discards it. Our database holds only the unit configuration and the tokens, encrypted.

Does it integrate with our HIS or clinical records?

Deliberately not. Glusor runs in parallel, without touching your systems, which is why it can be operational in one morning with no integration project. A token-based read-only API is available for custom integrations.

Is it a certified medical device?

No. Glusor is a supporting visualisation tool and does not carry a CE mark as a medical device. It must not be used as the sole source for diagnostic or therapeutic decisions, which always belong to the clinical team and its certified devices.
